Wesley W. Warren, ChFC, CLU, CASL, LTCP


Wesley Warren is the President of Financial Security Services Group, Inc.  He has over 20 years in the financial and retirement services industry and is a Chartered Financial Counselor (ChFC), a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and holds specific designations for long term care insurance (LTCP) and senior issues (CASL®*). In addition to serving hundreds of personal clients, Wes has trained thousands of agents throughout the United States on the topics of Social Security, retirement planning, estate planning, fixed and indexed annuities, long term care and Medicare. Wes has been a member of the Society for Financial Services Professionals since 2001.  He holds a BA from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX and lives in Flower Mound, TX with his wife and four children.

*The CASL® (Chartered Advisor for Senior Living) designation is earned from the American College of Financial Services in Bryn Mawr, PA.  The CASL requires 15 semester credit hours, five proctored exams and takes an average of 18 months to complete.

Robert W. McCann, Jr.

Robert W. McCann, Jr. is an insurance professional for FSS Group and is the owner of our FSS Group office in San Antonio, Texas. With over fifteen years in the financial services industry, Rob has helped numerous clients plan for their future. As a senior manager with Wachovia and Wells Fargo, Rob helped launch a very successful mortgage retention division and supervised over 60 employees. He also worked with many business owners in providing long term care, supplemental health, life and disability insurance to their employees.  As many of his clients aged, Rob expanded his specialty to focus on retirement and income planning. Rob holds a B.S. from Florida State University.

Rob’s wife, Brenda, is his office manager. They have been married for 27 years and have raised five children, three sons and two daughters. Prior to joining Rob in the office, Brenda spent 15 years as a stay-at-home mom raising their children and then 10 years teaching math at Texas Military Institute, serving as the math department chair for four years.  She holds a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Texas – San Antonio, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Dorene Hibbs, Executive Assistant

Dorene is adept at wearing many different hats and doing a multitude of jobs simultaneously in her role at the FSS Group. Dorene has almost two decades of experience as a personal assistant, senior executive assistant, and bookkeeper in a variety of different fields. Her primary responsibilities involve scheduling customer appointments and compiling and reviewing client data. Her careful, systematic approach, ability to work independently and respect for confidentiality are valuable qualities in the various roles she performs at FSS.

Mr. Choate is an experienced attorney with extensive corporate transactional, regulatory and litigation background, with broad civil and commercial litigation background in state and federal courts, and state and federal regulatory agency and lobbying expertise. Craig Choate is a results oriented professional with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to build relationships and work effectively with senior management.
